\nRN - PCU Stepdown
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Every other weekend requirement
\n• Holiday requirements: 1 major, 1 minor
\n• Nurse to patient ratio: 1:4
\n• 22-bed stepdown unit with fast-paced environment
\n• Care for patients with heart failure, Afib, respiratory distress, and stroke
\n• Required to titrate drips including Cardizem, amiodarone, and nitro
\n• Must read and interpret telemetry strips independently
\n• Work with CPAP equipment and troubleshoot as needed
\n• Charge nurse takes full patient assignment
\n• May float to ICU if appropriate experience is available
\n• Pass/fail exam during orientation requiring 90% to pass
\n• One 12-hour shift of department-specific orientation
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
\n• Must live outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with CommonSpirit facilities
\n• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove results in contract termination
\n• Driver's license required at submission
\n• Use EPIC charting system
\n• Handle many admits and discharges daily
