At Volt, our greatest strength is our people Volt is immediately hiring for “TECHNICAL EDITOR AND WRITER 3” in “Newport News VA”. You will do:
• Writes, rewrites and/or edits technical documents such as technical procedure manuals, user manuals, programming manuals, service manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications to communicate clearly and effectively technical specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences.
• Acquires subject knowledge by interviewing product developers, observing performance of production methods, referring to technical specifications, blueprints, engineering illustrations, and trade journals. • Oversees preparation of illustrative materials, selecting drawings, sketches, diagrams and charts. • Conducts quality review of materials. This is a 12 month with possible extension opportunity. Clearance Required: Confidential Qualifications You Must Have: • 6 Years with bachelor’s degree in related field • 4 years of relevant professional experience with a master’s degree Pay Rate:- $30/hr.-$33/hr. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
