About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Corporate Actuary to join their dynamic organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading an actuarial team in generating projections under various economic and regulatory scenarios to support a range of activities including asset adequacy analysis, business planning, ALM analysis, and internal management reporting. This role is pivotal in overseeing key initiatives across the company's platform and requires a strategic leader with a strong background in actuarial science, particularly in the areas of annuity products and other spread-based liabilities. The VP, Corporate Actuary will also be involved in managing and mentoring a team of actuaries, ensuring the development of scalable infrastructure for cash flow projections, and aligning actuarial processes with organizational changes and accounting standards. Applicants for the VP, Corporate Actuary position at the company should be credentialed actuaries with a proven track record of success, with FSA being preferred. The role demands a candidate with experience in managing and motivating a team, a deep understanding of ALM principles, and the ability to communicate complex concepts in a simple manner.
