Job Details

• RN Cardiac Cath Lab position with 40 hours per week day shifts from 7:00am to 5:30pm.
• Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab with 2 rooms including PCI, impella, balloon pump, device implant, ablations.
• Patient population: Adult.
• EMR system used: EPIC - cupid.
• No floating required.

Job Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Cath/EP Lab, Interventional Cardiac and scrub experience.
• Active Massachusetts RN License required.
• Certifications required: ACLS and BLS.

Schedule Information

• Shift: 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00am to 5:30pm.
• 7 on-call nights per month.
• One weekend on-call (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) plus 4 other nights during the month.

• Unit Name: Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Unit includes Cardiac catheterization and EP lab with 2 rooms.
• Procedures include PCI, impella, balloon pump, device implant, ablations.

Additional Details

• MGB IRP Resume and Evaluation optional for submission.
• License/Certificate Verification required within 30 days of start date; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted.
• Fit Test (N95) required within 365 days of start date and updated annually.
• MGB Medication Exam and Advanced Dysrhythmia Exam required with 80% passing score.
• MMR vaccination or proof of immunity required.
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30) with no exemptions.
• TB test documentation required within 3 months of start date and updated if >6 month break.
• Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA required within 365 days of start date and updated if >6 month break.
• MGB Criminal Background Check within 45 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break.
• MGB Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break.
• MGB Resume required for submission including past 7 years of work experience.
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation required if fit test is required.
• MGB References required for submission with minimum 1 supervisor or above.
• MGB Skills Checklist required for submission.
• MGB Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form required for all initial assignments and extensions.
• MGB Education Verification required through background check company.
• MGB SSN Trace, National Sex Offender Check, and Exclusion Checks required within 30 days of start and updated annually.
