Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour

Shifts Available: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Punctually adhere to work schedule and clock in at the designated time.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip vehicle inspections before departing the garage.
• Complete the pre-trip inspection form as per the nightly schedule.
• Ensure the vehicle is equipped with necessary supplies, including hand blower, trash bags, and any other required equipment.
• Check in with the night manager for updates related to assignments before leaving the garage.
• Accurately log time in/out at each serviced location.
• Follow site-specific instructions for tasks such as emptying trash cans.
• Report any vehicle or equipment issues to the night manager
• Perform all assigned tasks efficiently while meeting performance expectations.
• Clear sidewalks and empty trash receptacles as needed.
• Sweep the front parking lot and other designated areas.
• Clear driveway lanes, sidewalk areas, and building curbs of debris.
• Remove trash and clean the back-loading dock and dumpster areas.
• Manually pick up litter from grassy areas, landscape beds, and fence lines as necessary.
• Conduct a post-trip vehicle inspection.
• Complete and sign the post-trip inspection form at the end of the shift.

Requirements for our Street Cleaning Vehicle Operator:

• Solid understanding of job-specific duties and proficient with the operation of cleaning machines and tools.
• Experience in operating heavy equipment.
• Able to navigate routes and follow maps efficiently.
• Capable of working independently.
• Must meet DOT Driver Requirements.
• Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record.
• DOT Driver Qualification for vehicles weighing 10,001 to 26,000 pounds.
• Familiarity with KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software for accurate recording of work hours and attendance is required.
