Overview Employer Industry: Sustainability and Environmental Management in the Fashion Industry Why consider this job opportunity: Opportunity to work with purpose-driven teams focused on creating a better planet Engage in innovative sustainability initiatives that impact the fashion industry Full-time in-person role located in San Francisco, a vibrant city known for its commitment to sustainability Collaborate with cross-functional teams and industry forums on relevant sustainability topics Chance to develop executive-level materials and influence organizational sustainability strategies What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) Lead the calculation of the annual greenhouse gas inventory and manage climate programs for owned assets Collaborate with internal partners to prepare annual inventories for Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions, water consumption, and waste management Analyze data to measure impacts and progress toward sustainability goals and regulatory compliance Support the management of renewable energy investments and assist teams in prioritizing energy efficiency and low carbon initiatives Stay updated on sustainability frameworks and industry standards to ensure alignment with best practices What is Required (Qualifications) 2-4+ years of experience in a sustainability-focused role, preferably in the fashion or apparel industry High proficiency with business intelligence platforms and analytics tools, such as PowerBi and Microsoft Excel Experience with energy assessments, sustainability data analysis, and environmental impact assessments Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex sustainability concepts to stakeholders Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work cross-functionally within a global team How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Additional expertise in carbon accounting footprint Experience representing a company at industry forums on sustainability topics Familiarity with sustainability metrics and regulatory frameworks such as GHG Protocol, SBTi, CDP, TCFD, and CSRD #Sustainability #EnvironmentalManagement #FashionIndustry #DataAnalysis #CareerOpportunity We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
