Senior Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Support preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP
• Handle cost accounting processes, including tracking and analyzing production costs, variances, and inventory valuation
• Manage general ledger activities, including month-end and year-end closings
• Oversee account reconciliations and journal entries to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting standards
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and management teams to optimize financial performance
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the accounting function

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
