Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Wauchula, FL is seeking a dedicated professional with expertise in school psychology to support students academic, social, and emotional development throughout the current school year. This contract position provides an opportunity to contribute directly to student success and collaborate with educators and families within the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and eligibility for services
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed to support student wellbeing
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports in compliance with school policies and regulations

Qualifications:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience working in K-12 educational settings
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and special education laws
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
