Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a School Psychologist position based in Oakland, CA, within a school setting on a contract basis. The role requires expertise in psychological assessment, intervention, and counseling tailored to students' educational and emotional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify student learning and behavioral challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals
  • Provide counseling and support to students to improve academic performance and social-emotional development
  • Consult with teachers and staff to design effective strategies for classroom management and student support
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and developing intervention plans
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and school personnel
  • Knowledge of special education laws and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting
