About City Kitchen & Bath

City Kitchen & Bath is a highly rated design–build remodeling firm based in Fairfax, VA, serving all surrounding areas. We specialize in complete kitchen and bathroom renovations and are known for our craftsmanship, professionalism, and 5-star customer service. With an active showroom and strong local reputation, we are expanding our field team and seeking a qualified Project Manager to lead and oversee multiple remodeling projects per month.

Position Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for full project execution — managing schedules, subcontractors, materials, and client communication from contract to final inspection. This role ensures that each remodeling project is completed on time, within budget, and to the high standards City Kitchen & Bath is known for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and complete 3–6 active remodeling projects per month according to approved timelines.
  • Oversee subcontractors across all trades — plumbing, electrical, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, tile, and finishing.
  • Order and coordinate construction materials (cabinets, countertops, plumbing fixtures, tile, flooring, etc.) in advance of project start.
  • Work directly with vendors and manufacturers — including Medallion, Waypoint, Fabuwood, and Forevermark — to ensure all materials are delivered and inspected before installation.
  • Schedule trash and debris pickup before, during, and after project completion.
  • Inspect all incoming materials for accuracy and quality; promptly order replacements or backordered items to avoid delays.
  • Maintain high quality control and ensure all installations meet specifications, local codes, and client expectations.
  • Manage permits and inspections through local jurisdictions; coordinate required site visits.
  • Recruit and manage qualified subcontractors; maintain consistent work quality and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation , including daily photos, notes, and inspection records.
  • Deliver small materials or tools to job sites when necessary.
  • Communicate daily with clients and office staff to ensure smooth project progress.
  • Keep all job sites clean, organized, and professional at all times.

Professional Standards

  • Must wear City Kitchen & Bath company shirt while on site (provided).
  • Must be clean-cut, shaved, and professionally dressed — no ripped pants, sleeveless shirts, or flip-flops allowed.
  • Represent the company with respect and professionalism in every client interaction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing residential remodeling or construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen and bathroom construction , material ordering, and sequencing.
  • Experience managing multiple job sites at once while maintaining quality and communication.
  • Strong leadership, organization, and scheduling skills.
  • Proficient in using Google Workspace, Excel, and project management tools (Odoo, Buildertrend, or similar).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability and a proactive mindset.

Why Work With Us

  • Steady pipeline of qualified kitchen and bath projects year-round.
  • Competitive pay with bonuses for on-time, under-budget completion.
  • Modern showroom in Fairfax for client meetings and selections.
  • Office, design, and administrative support staff to keep projects running smoothly.
  • Growth opportunities within a reputable and expanding company.
  • Company T-shirts, gas allowance, and phone stipend provided.
