BAE Systems is searching for a RF Principal Test Engineer with experience in developing automated test software solutions./ppThe ideal candidate must be a motivated self-starter, able to complete assignments with little oversight while being available as a subject matter expert and technical lead to their team. They must be able to assume a full or partial lead role as circumstances dictate, and be able to quickly and dynamically switch focus to accommodate the daily activities of an engineering team supporting a production environment. This individual should be comfortable providing accurate technical status to program management or direction to individual contributors as part of their job function, as well as interfacing with other engineering disciplines as necessary./ph3Required Education, Experience, Skills/h3ulliBachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field./lili4+ years of professional test development and integration experience./liliHardware and Software Integration experience./liliPossess good communication skills including interpersonal communication and team communication/liliProficiency in Object-oriented programming (C/C++/C# etc.)/liliExperience with RF Measurement techniques and ability to diagnose and resolve to root cause measurement anomalies./liliExperience with RF test measurement methodology and development using a myriad of RF Test equipment (such as Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, power meters, etc.)/li/ulh3Preferred Education, Experience, Skills/h3ulliActive Secret clearance or ability to obtain one./liliThe ideal candidate would be familiar or experienced in:/liulliNI Test Software Tools/liulliTestStand/liliLabWindows/CVI Software/li/ulliInstrument Communication/liulliNetwork analyzers/liliSpectrum analyzers/li/ulliMicrowave/RF measurements/liulliVSWR/liliGain/liliCompression/liliPhase noise/liliS-Parameters/li/ulliExperience implementing digital communication protocols (MLVDS, RS232/485/422, PCI/PCIe, JTAG, SPI, I2C) in an automated test solution/liliExperience with the entire product life cycle development or parts of it: Requirements review, test plan creation, coding, integration of test SW with test stands, and sell-off to customers./liliTakes initiative and has a closure-oriented nature/liliExperience with SW version control and bug tracking tools/liliExperience in supporting factory production test stands, debug, problem isolation, and resolution./liliExperience with National Instruments FlexRIO (LabVIEW FPGA/VHDL/Verilog a plus)/liliJTAG/Boundary project development in an ATE solution/liliAtlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)/liliGit and Tortoise Git/liliStrong leadership skills/liliExperience in leading engineers on multiple projects/tasks/liliExperience with HW debug troubleshooting./li/ulh3Pay Information/h3pFull-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
