Maintenance Technician – Join a Team That Shines (Literally and Figuratively!)

About the Role :
TES Staffing has been working for many years with an amazing, women owned company located on the west side of Rochester. Our client takes pride in making every space look its best; and that starts with their Maintenance Technicians. This isn’t your average maintenance job. You’ll be hands on with industry leading equipment, transforming floors into showpieces and helping our clients’ spaces sparkle. Every day brings variety, teamwork, and the satisfaction of a job well done.

Details :
Monday – Friday 7:45a – 4:45p
Pay – Depending on experience, starting at $22/hr ( + overtime, bonuses and incredible medical benefits, 401k with match)
90 Day contract to hire

You’ll work closely with the Maintenance Department Lead and a crew that values integrity, craftsmanship, and fun. If you’re reliable, energetic, and love seeing instant results from your work you’ll thrive here.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate top-of-the-line equipment like automatic scrubbers, burnishers, extractors, and sweepers to keep floors in peak condition.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance on your gear, we take pride in keeping our tools as polished as our floors.
• Clean and maintain all types of flooring surfaces, ensuring every finish reflects our quality standards.
• Stay on schedule and complete assignments efficiently, with professionalism and care.
• Communicate clearly with the Maintenance Lead and team about job progress and needs.
• Use the right products and procedures to ensure safe, high-quality results every time.
• Keep safety first — always.

What You Bring:

• A high school diploma or GED
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Strong work ethic and the motivation to take ownership of your tasks
• A positive, “let’s make it happen” attitude — no job too big or too small
• Willingness to work various shifts or occasional overtime to meet client needs
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently when needed
• Confidence operating a cargo van or box truck (16’ or 26’)
