Manages the project work as defined by the government. Leads medium to large complex projects and major phases of very large projects. Provides highly technical and specialized guidance and solutions to complex IT problems. Important Note Please note: This job requires an existing NSA Top Secret Clearance and Polygraph Technology: Support across all System Security Plans (SSP). Responsibilities and Duties Provides support for a program, organization system, or enclave's information assurance program. Provides support for proposing, coordinating implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards and methodologies. Experience and Qualifications Citizenship: Must Be a US Citizen Existing Clearance Required: Active Top-Secret/SCI with Poly Minimum education and experience: High School/GED with twenty (20) years of relevant experience; Associate's degree with fifteen (15) years; Bachelor's degree with twelve (12) years. Experience in two or more of the following areas: knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation; communications protocols; and encryption techniques/tools; DOD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or higher Manages the project work as defined by the government. Leads medium to large complex projects and major phases of very large projects. Provides highly technical and specialized guidance and solutions to complex IT problems. ISSO skill set; Azure experience a plus Fundamental understanding of cloud computing including the concepts of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS). Understand the benefits and drawbacks of operating in the cloud as compared to traditional on-premise infrastructure. Assist with preparation and maintenance of documentation. Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce information systems security policies, standards and methodologies. Assist with the CM for information system security software, hardware, and firmware. Maintain optional security posture for an information system or program. Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs) for both new and existing systems. Analyze vulnerability scan results and collaborate with system owners to implement remediation. Support the initial authorization and reauthorization processes for system(s). Manage and control changes to the system and assess the security impact of those changes.
