Sanitation Team Member Schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Tuesday through Saturday
Work Location: Grand Forks, ND
Pay Rate: $19/hr

Key Responsibilities Safe Equipment Operation & Maintenance - Perform routine and non-routine sanitation of production and facility equipment.
- Ensure all equipment and surfaces meet food safety standards before use.
- Follow established safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
Product Handling & Quality Control - Follow company procedures for material handling and retention sample collection.
- Maintain accurate chemical inventories and ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices.
Food Safety & Sanitation Compliance - Adhere to GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA, and other food safety programs.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout all areas of the plant.
- Report any food safety or quality concerns immediately.
Team Collaboration & Support - Assist teammates and adapt to changing production needs.
- Contribute to productivity, safety, and quality goals.
- Support training and cross-functional sanitation activities as needed.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement - Accurately complete required documentation and cleaning checklists.
- Participate in 5S and other continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications Education & Experience - High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or food production sanitation preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Technical & Mechanical Skills - Basic mechanical aptitude; ability to identify and report equipment issues.
- Familiarity with production equipment and sanitation procedures.
- Basic computer literacy and math skills required; SAP or inventory experience preferred.
Safety & Compliance - Understanding of GMPs, HACCP, and food safety regulations.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., push or pull heavy loads, and stand/walk for long periods.
- Ability to work in wet or humid environments and around moving machinery.
Communication & Teamwork - Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Personal Attributes - Positive attitude and commitment to safety and quality.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed.
Physical Requirements - Stand or walk for extended periods (up to 90% of the shift).
- Frequently lift, push, pull, climb, bend, and stoop.
- Must have normal vision (corrected if necessary) and color recognition.
- Must wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Exposure to varying temperatures, wet conditions, moving machinery, and cleaning chemicals.
