Job Description
We are an independent private school providing a quality and compassionate education in a Christ-centered environment right in Midtown Harrisburg. Our income-based tuition structure and open enrollment policy mean families of varied religious and socioeconomic backgrounds make up the Logos Academy Harrisburg community. We’re recruiting elementary teachers to join our team. We currently have an opening for our Kindergarten teaching position .
Note: adjusted salary $23,000-$30,000 (prorated for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year)
Responsibilities
The person in this position will be responsible for planning and delivering grade-level lessons aligned with the Danielson Framework for Teaching. Responsibilities include designing lesson plans and assessments that support the curricular scope and sequence while meeting the needs of diverse learners. The ideal candidate will foster a positive, formative classroom environment by upholding behavioral expectations and utilizing trauma-informed practices. Strong partnerships with parents are essential. Ongoing professional development is a vital part of this role.
