What You’ll Do

• Collaborate directly with DALAVE’s customers to design and implement robust cloud security solutions that address their needs and close any identified security and compliance gaps.
• Partner closely with various teams – cloud operations, DevOps, incident response, platform, product, and application – to protect and manage Google Cloud environments.
• Identify and resolve any instances of non-compliance with established security baselines and standards.
• Address misconfigurations and vulnerabilities in cloud resources.
• Analyze logs and ensure effective monitoring and alerting mechanisms are in place to detect and respond to potential security incidents.
• Adhere to industry best practices for cloud architecture and security.
• Develop secure infrastructure-as-code to deploy, manage, and remediate cloud resources.
• Collaborate with developers to prevent the provisioning or configuration of insecure resources.
• Implement and provide training on security best practices.

Required Education

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, and Engineering.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 0 years of experience in an IT role.
• Understanding of GCP, AWS, or Azure.

Bonus Points

• Experience with Google Cloud.
• Cybersecurity certification or similar.
• Proficient with Python scripting for automation.
• Understanding of common cloud infrastructure.
