Job Title: Architectural Engineer – Electrical Design Location: Lincoln, NE or Omaha, NE Employment type: Full‑time Seniority level: Entry level Base pay range: $60,000 – $80,000 per year Additional compensation: Annual Bonus Role Description This is a full‑time on‑site role located in Lincoln, NE or Omaha, NE for an Architectural Engineer focusing in Electrical design. The Architectural Engineer will be responsible for developing building designs, overseeing construction projects, collaborating with various engineering disciplines, and ensuring project compliance with relevant regulations and codes. Day‑to‑day tasks include design and drafting of construction documents, conducting site assessments, and managing project timelines and budgets. The role requires a strong focus on quality, attention to detail, and team collaboration. Responsibilities Design and draft electrical construction documents. Conduct site assessments and develop design solutions. Collaborate with mechanical, structural, and civil engineers. Manage project timelines, budgets, and quality control. Qualifications Engineering skills for developing building designs and plans. Project Management skills to oversee projects and manage timelines and budgets. Construction skills for practical application and compliance. Teamwork skills for effective collaboration with various engineering disciplines. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license is advantageous. Experience with CAD software and building information modeling (BIM) is preferred. Strong communication and leadership skills.
