• Ongoing SET-UP & RUN-TIME management
• Ensure that Machine Operators maintain clean and organized work centers
• • Should include but not limited to cleaning machine, cleaning and organizing tools (cutting & hand tools), cleaning and organizing raw material (incoming and outgoing), floor space.
• Maintain an accurate count of incoming and outgoing jobs and at the same time, responsible for accurate documentation in SyteLine.
• Maintain inspection/quality standards by monitoring, tracking, and documenting scraps / defects for their work center daily
• Manage, plan and sequence the plan & workflow for each day.
• Maintaining a culture of continuous improvement by working with manufacturing engineers.
• In a situation where a machine is inoperable or needs maintenance, you are required to report using Maintain X software
• Identify and work with operators with inconsistency related SET-UP & RUN-TIME

• 1st shift – more complex and shorter run work

• 2nd shift – intermediate runners

• 3rd shift – set up by second shift long run unmanned items

• Responsible for collecting, separating and storing scrap generated either through machine or defective parts at individual
• Track daily employees’ time and attendance including PTO
• Ensure that machine center cross training is taking place, so we have a more versatile and flexible workforce
• Report on any employee relations issues or inconsistencies on attendance immediately to Talent Culture Development Team (TC Dept)
• Help support the culture and values of the company by leading by example via our values, striving for perfection in all that we do, work with urgency, operator with integrity, collaborate with all functions and people, share in the essence of toughness within the scope and demands of the roles we serve in the process, be clear and concise in our communication and act with grace and humility – ultimately leading the way by engaging and creating positivity at all times
• Responsible for operator training such as but not limited to, review job description and overall responsibilities of a Machine Operator, Factory Track system requirements, machine training, machine/personal safety & security etc.
• Create an environment where all employees know that we aim to have an efficient and effective workforce where we can plug an operator in where the machine demand is at any time of the day
• Issue employee disciplinary action where required, work in conjunction with TC Team

Safety, Security and Compliance

• In an accident involving our employee: 1st and foremost ensure the safety and well-being of the employee by quickly assessing the situation and responding swiftly.
• Stabilize the employee as best as possible
• Seek-out an Internal 1st responder
• Call 911 for emergency services
• Preserve the area as best as possible so that a thorough accident investigation can be conducted
• Conduct an accident investigation, work in conjunction with TC/Safety Team
• Work with TC/Safety Team pertaining to the injury management process
